Passing H.B. 371 was the start. In another op-ed, Michele Young continued calling on Ohioans to come together and tell breast cancer that "time's up." The call to action would later become a part of the Pink Eraser Project®'s campaign to erase breast cancer.
After helping to pass H.B. 371, Michele Young set her sights on the Find It Early Act and immunotherapy as part of her efforts to continue to erase breast cancer which would later lead to the Pink Eraser Project®.
Leading up to the Pink Eraser Project®, Michele Young worked alongside lawmakers across the aisle, including State Representatives Jean Schmidt and Sedrick Denson, and patient advocates to pass H.B. 371.
Michele Young penned an op-ed urging the passage of House Bill 371, legislation that would save thousands of lives in Ohio and inspire Michele Young to take this cause national.
